Portless, operated by CRBL Technologies, LLC, does not permit tunnels to be used for illegal or abusive activity. This page explains what to report and how reports are handled.
1. What to Report
Please report any tunnel or subdomain that appears to be serving:
- Illegal content
- Copyright infringement
- Malware or attempted malware delivery
- Phishing or credential theft
- Harassment, threats, or other abusive content
2. How to Report Abuse
Email [email protected] with the affected subdomain, a short description of the issue, and any supporting evidence that will help us investigate.
3. What We Do
We investigate abuse reports, disable tunnels or daemon tokens for confirmed violations, and comply with valid law-enforcement requests where required by law.
4. Response Time
We aim to acknowledge abuse reports within 48 hours and to take action on confirmed violations within 72 hours.
5. Repeat Offenders
Accounts or operators responsible for repeated confirmed violations may be permanently banned from the service.
6. DMCA Copyright Notices
If you believe content served through a Portless tunnel infringes your copyright under 17 U.S.C. § 512, send a copyright notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice". Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location (subdomain URL).
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Portless is a tunneling service and generally does not host the content identified in copyright reports. We will review valid DMCA notices promptly, may forward notices to the affected account holder, and may disable tunnels, daemon tokens, subdomains, or accounts for confirmed violations, repeat infringement, legal obligations, or abuse of the Service. Affected account holders may respond to a copyright notice by contacting [email protected].
